Grace Newman graduated from the UCO in 2017 with a Master of Osteopathy (M.Ost).

What do you do now?

I'm a self-employed associate 3 days a week, and 2 days running own lists.

Why did you choose to study at the UCO?

For the clinical experience offered, the friendly feel and location.

What did you most enjoy about your course?

The varied teaching styles, clinical experience, opportunities to do more within the university other than studying.

What did you think of the facilities at the UCO?

All the facilities were really good, however there could have been more study spaces external to the library to facilitate study groups.

Is there anything else that you’ve really enjoyed during your time as a student?

I really enjoyed being able to get involved with every aspect of my study experience from learning, being Students' Union president, student Board Member, and deciding to complete the Three Peaks Challenge with good friends to raise money for the community clinics.

What advice would you give to prospective students who are thinking of applying to the UCO?

Be prepared to work hard, make use of the resources and people around you and try to enjoy every experience.
