Do your research
Don't wait until results day to consider your options. If you're considering studying with the UCO get in touch with us on 020 7089 5316 or email admissions@uco.ac.uk. We're happy to answer any questions you have and can arrange for you to chat to our course team or a student, or a one-to-one tour if you'd like to take a look around.
Make sure you have your Clearing number
If you haven't already registered and submitted an application with UCAS you'll need to do so before you can enter Clearing. UCAS will send you a welcome email, with your Clearing number and instructions on how to us UCAS Track. If you've already applied through UCAS but don't currently hold a place you'll be automatically entered into Clearing and given a Clearing number. If you have a confirmed place but have changed your mind you can self-release from your current place to be entered into Clearing.
You'll know you're in Clearing if your UCAS Track status says 'You are in Clearing' or 'Clearing has started', and you can find your Clearing number in the 'Your Choices' section of Track.
Get in touch to discuss an offer
Contact us to see if we are able to offer you a place through Clearing. We consider every applicant on their individual merits so it's always worth getting in touch and talking to us about your options.
We may need to ask you a few questions or arrange an interview to assess whether the course is a good fit for you, and then we'll let you know if we are able to offer you a place.
Add us as your Clearing choice
Go to the ‘Your choices’ section of UCAS Track and click 'Add Clearing choice’. Then enter the details of the course as instructed. You'll need to do this by the deadline we request to ensure your place isn't released to someone else.
Get ready for uni!
We'll then confirm your place through UCAS Track. Once this is done your place secured and you can begin planning for your studies! We'll be in touch with information about your course, enrolment and induction and to help you prepare for the exciting journey ahead!
Not applying for our full-time M.Ost?
If you're interested in applying for our part-time M.Ost, our Access to HE Diploma or our PG Cert in Specialist Paediatric Osteopathic Practice you don't need to go through the UCAS Clearing process. Simply give us a call to discuss your options and we can advise you on next steps.
