We are delighted that Dr Jerry Draper Rodi, Senior Research Fellow at the UCO, has been appointed as the new Director of the National Council for Osteopathic Research (NCOR).
The appointment will start in November 2021 and Dr Draper-Rodi will build on the success of Professor Dawn Carnes in leading NCOR. The UCO has been a stakeholder member of NCOR since its inception and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research), Steven Vogel is a trustee of NCOR and UCO’s stakeholder representative.
Steven was not involved in the selection process and greeted NCOR’s announcement of a new director by saying.
"Dr Draper-Rodi’s appointment is a great achievement and we are pleased that NCOR will be moving forward with Jerry’s leadership and innovation. I look forward to working with Jerry in this new role and UCO remains firm in its commitment to support NCOR in its endeavours to support the osteopathic profession’s research development and capacity."
