Board Lay Member
Andrew has extensive experience of working with the Department of Health and NHS in senior management and leadership roles in policy, commissioning and provider services.
This included roles at national and localised levels, as well as working across traditional boundaries with partners from social care and voluntary sectors to deliver patient-focused services.
Andrew worked with the NHS Modernisation Agency testing new models of care delivery and designed an Access and Awareness programme for GP Practices to enable greater appreciation of the needs for vulnerable and hard to reach groups. He has also had experience within the further education sector for students with special needs.
Andrew has served as a non-executive director for several organisations leading on Finance and Governance, experience which included sitting on UCO’s Board of Directors for 6 years. He continues his long association with UCO by sitting on the Fundraising and Equality, Diversity & Inclusivity committees as a lay member.
