Why osteopathy?

From a young age I have been a keen athlete and have participated in various sports, therefore I was familiar with sporting injuries. I tried lots of different therapies including physiotherapists and chiropractors. However osteopathy really worked for me as I found their deep knowledge of the human body and holistic approach allowed my body to fully function and heal.

Why the UCO?

I was inspired by the staff and students passion for this profession. UCO has such a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel so comfortable, which I’ve found to be important especially during exam season. Also being an individual that suffers from many health issues, UCO has encouraged and fully supported my journey throughout the first year.

Favourite aspects of the course so far?

I have really enjoyed exploring the anatomy and physiology of the human body and understanding how everything is linked together. I have also found it extremely interesting to pair this alongside the different techniques we learn in class and bringing the theory and the practical together.

What are your hopes and plans for the future?

Looking forward, I would love to set up my own practice specialising in cranial and paediatrics.
