James graduated in 2009 and founded his own business, Rising Health, shortly afterwards. He has since built a successful career working with elite athletes, professional footballers and other high profile clients including singers, film and TV stars.
He is passionate about helping clients understand how their bodies work, working with them to recover from injury and helping them to achieve peak performance. He has also recently published his first book and is a regular keynote speaker. Hear more of James's story...
Ana is a current student studying osteopathy on our full time M.Ost course. She is also a UCO Student Ambassador and works alongside her studies.

Freddie Wee
Freddie Wee is a recent graduate and a keen ultra marathon runner. In 2022 he combined his passions when he became part of the osteopathic support team for the UltraX World Marathon in Jordan. Listen to Freddie talk about what he learned from the experience...
Freddie isn't the only UCO student to join the UltraX team. A team of 4 full-time UCO M.OSt students and Practice Educator Margherita Piastri supported the race in 2023, providing osteopathic and massage treatments to over 140 runners for over five consecutive days. See more...
Elodie Frati
Elodie Frati trained as an osteopathy following a former career as a professional dancer. Since qualifying she has buit a successful career working with performers and teaches yoga alongside her osteopathic practice. She recently joined the UCO as a member of teaching staff to share her knowledge and skills with current students.

Andrew MacMillan
Andrew served as an engineering technician in the Royal Navy until deciding to pursue a different career in 2011. He had experience of osteopathy as treatment for recurring back pain and his osteopath encouraged him to apply to the UCO. Andrew's osteopathic career spans , research, teaching and private practice.
