Our students are at the heart of what we do and we greatly value their input.
Students are directly involved in decision-making at the UCO through membership of the Board and committee groups, and each year group has elected student representatives who are responsible for liaising with the school on matters of student interest. The UCO welcomes and encourages all student comments and feedback, and works with students to improve and enhance their experience whilst studying.
These formal channels help us to ensure we are listening and responding to the needs of our students, but we also pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming organisation with an open door policy, so students are able to approach staff across the organisation to discuss ideas or areas of concern freely.
