The Student Learning Advisor provides academic support and specialises in supporting students who have English as an Additional Language (EAL). Both one to one and group support can be provided.
The Student Learning Adviser may be able to help with:
- Planning assignments
- Revision strategies
- Developing academic writing skills
- Notetaking
- Organisation
- Using English as an additional language
- Initial dyslexia assessments
- Proofreading service
The Student Learning Advisor also manages the Academic Learning Resources page on the UCO's virtual learning environment, where you can find information and resources on topics such as academic reading and writing, effective literature searching and developing your communication skills.
